After last season's poorly presented runway show, Andrea Pompilio just released his latest Fall 2016 Menswear collection and ladies and gentlemen, it's just as corky and cool as we thought it would be. Using mixed prints and patterns to his advantage, the brand paid close attention to detail while expanding on the DNA, thus making this collection all about constructing "that guy"--- a task that was executed very well I might add.
The presentation was full of rough hemmed track pants, gray and blue fringed stripes, alpaca-mix tank tops and sweaters all in rich hues of green, burgundy and taupe The recurring military blazer—an homage to his grandfather reigned king in both tailoring and concept, leaving the customer wanting more than one item from the showroom regardless if the presentation did not grace the runway. Man made distress to collared shirts added a sense of character, a branding of sorts which facilitated the usage of lightweight layering. After this collection, we expect more from the brand in seasons to come.
