As seen on Complex.com, "Dipset, the new Black Panthers," Jim Jones once rapped on "This is Gangsta." So it only makes sense Kinship would enlist the rapper for a limited edition release of their Black Panther bomber. The far left bomber will now be available in Red Contrast. T
he new colorway was selected by The Capo himself. Only 50 bombers will be released.
With a red wool body and red genuine leather sleeves, the Red Contrast Kinship Black Panther Bomber features nine black and white Black Panther-inspired patches, highlighting 1966 on the back-the year B.P.P.F.S.D. was founded. The satin inside features an all over print of prominent figures from the movement.
"It's a powerful jacket. So, you know, I had to put my splash on it," Jim Jones said.
The Kinship Black Panther bomber pays homage to one of the greatest representations of kinship, The Black Panther Party.
Started by college students, Dr. Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale to bring power to the people, the party was originally called the Black Panther Party For Self Defense. B.P.P.F.S.D. was dedicated to protection of the people and instituting community social programs.
The Kinship Black Panther Bomber seeks to bring awareness to these pioneering concepts and pay tribute to these core fundamentals.
The lookbook of course, features Jim Jones.
The jacket is available now for $450 at www.kinshipshop.com.
